PWA or native app: which is right for your business?

A progressive web app (PWA) is a website that installs on a phone like an app: it has an icon, opens full screen, and parts of it work offline. The site you're reading right now is a PWA.

A PWA is the best choice when

Customers need to reach you quickly, without an app-store download
Budget is limited and one build for Android, iPhone and desktop is enough
Content changes constantly, like menus, catalogues or price lists

You need a native app when

You need deep hardware access, such as Bluetooth or heavy image processing
Being in the App Store and Google Play is part of your brand
Advanced notifications and background work are critical

Our advice
